The NOx removal rate on the surface of P-modified VW/Ti catalyst as a function of temperature for different P loadings is shown in Fig. 2 and the water resistance experiment of the catalyst was detailed shown in Fig. S1 in the Supplementary Material. The reaction atmosphere was consisted of 500 ppm NH3, 500 ppm NO, 5 % O2 and N2 as balanced. Commercial VW/Ti catalyst used in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) process is one of the major sources of SO3 in coal-fired boiler, and modification of VW/Ti catalyst by adding catalytic promoter has been demonstrated to be an effective way to inhibit SO3 generation.
