Pyrolysis of sludge is a promising method for energy and resource recovery from solid waste. However, the emission of odorous gases, especially those containing sulfur and nitrogen, poses significant environmental challenges. Therefore, this study investigated the release characteristics of organic sulfur, when it coexist with organic nitrogen.
