The microstructure and properties of Al-9.0Zn-2.5Mg-l.2Cu-0.12Sc-0.15Zr alloy under different treatment conditions were investigated by using optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffractometry and measurements of tensile properties and electric conductivity. The results show that the as-cast microstructures of 7000 series alloys with 0.12%Sc are equiaxed.
