Nowadays, the reliability and accuracy of synchronous clock in the power system protection and location is hardly realized. High accuracy synchronous clock based on GPS and BEIDOU navigation satellite system was presented in the paper. Firstly, the accumulating error produced by crystal oscillator can be eliminated by reference of GPS 1PPS based on digital phase lock principle, and then GPS and BEIDOU mutual backup scheme can guarantee the reliability of synchronous clock when GPS worked under abnormal status or random error was too large.
