The effects of solution treatment and aging process on microstructure and mechanical properties of Al-7.2Zn-2.0Mg-1.2Cu-0.10Sc-0.10Zr alloy were investigated by tensile tests, electric conductivity, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.
