The power system needs to coordinate the economic dispatch and the carbon emission under the carbon market. The CO2 emission characteristics of different generation resources arc analyzed, then generation resources are divided into three categories: high , low and zero carbon emission. Considering the carbon capture unit and the demand response, the Low-Carbon Economic Dispatch model is established with carbon trading cost included in the objective function.
