Effect of RE-N on the solidification microstructures of Fe-B-Ti alloy containing 0.3%C, 2.0%B, and 1.0% (mass fraction)Ti was investigated by optical microscopy (OM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The results indicate that the solidification microstructures of Fe-B-Ti alloy consist of Fe2B, TiB2, pearlite, ferrite and martensite. The shape of Fe2B is continuous and netlike.
