An accelerated analog abrasion instrument, previously developed and manufactured by the authors, is used to study the abrasion and attenuation of skid-resistant textures on different cement concrete pavements. The abrasion processes of groove concrete pavement, exposed aggregate concrete pavement and porous concrete pavement are investigated in detail.
