介绍了长沙市第五水厂平流沉淀池桁车排泥控制系统的设计，该系统采用西门子公司的S7—300PLC和ET200M扩展模块实现了排泥全过程的三段式自动控制。实际生产表明，该系统既提高了供水水质，又达到了节能降耗的目的。
