采用5% Pd/C作为转移氢催化剂,4 -异丙基环己烯酮为氢给予剂,工业双戊烯为氢接受剂和溶剂进行反应,合成了对异丙基苯酚.考察了催化剂用量、反应时间和反应温度对反应的影响,确定了合成对异丙基苯酚的最佳反应条件:原料与5% Pd/C的配比为10∶0.7(质量比)、反应时间为30 min,在174 ℃回流温度下, 对异丙基苯酚的产率可达87%.对催化剂的重复使用次数进行了考察,使用5次后催化剂活性是原来的89.7%.

p-Isopropylphenol was synthesized by catalytic transfer dehydrogenation with 5% Pd/C using 4-isopropylcyclohexenone as the materia1 and the hydrogen offer, industrial dipentene as the hydrogen acceptor and the solvent. The reactions were carried out directly under reflux condition. The effects of an amount of 5%Pd/C, the reaction time and reaction temperature were investigated. The optimal conditions of the synthesis were determined as follows: the mass ratio of 5%Pd/C to the material was 10:0.7, the reaction time was 30 min at reflux temperature.
