生态防护技术具有固土护坡、生态绿化的双重效果，在公路边坡的防护中被广泛应用。为探究生态防护的作用机理、技术方法及评价体系，该研究在现有成果的基础上，总结了生态防护在发展过程中的关键问题。分析了不同的生态防护机理、作用效应及影响因素，介绍了各种生态防护技术并进行了归纳，形成了生态防护技术体系，对关键技术进行了讨论与展望。根据现有评价体系中存在的问题，提出了生态防护评价指标体系以及方法的发展方向。
