ATP,a small molecule with high intracellular concentration (mMlevel), provides a fuel to power signal amplification, which is meaningfulfor biosensing. However, traditional ATP-powered amplification isbased on ATP/aptamer recognition, which is susceptible to the complexbiological microenvironment (e.g., nuclease).
