LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 was synthesized by solid-state reaction with different Ni containing precursors. The effect of precursor on electrochemical performance was studied. It was demonstrated that LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 synthesized with Ni(NO 3)2·6H2O as precursor had good charge-discharge performances.
