Parallel distributed algorithm was improved to minimum the scale of look-up table by segmenting look-up table and using the symmetry of FIR linear filter. Subsequently, a novel eighteen-tapped FIR low-pass filter was designed by Kaise window function. Models of and whole FIR low-pass filter were designed by Verilog-HDL.
