Due to the lack of study on basalt fiber (BF)-reinforced asphalt mucilage based on silane coupling agent (SCA) modification, researchers used SCA to modify BF and then prepared fiber-reinforced asphalt mucilage (FRAM) specimens. FRAM's high- and low-temperature rheological performances were evaluated by BBR and DSR and the reinforcement mechanism of modified BF (MBF) was analyzed by ESEM and FTIR.
