Analyzes the principle, software, hardware design and application in power system of a kind of new reactive power automatically regulating device based on voltage control. This device aims at controlling output voltage to realize reactive power local balance by regulating the middle-voltage side voltage of 220KV substation while considering the high-voltage side voltage adjusting. Thus it decreases the reactive power flow in the network and drops down the power loss;meanwhile the quality of voltage is also improved.
