Nano-CaCO3/PTW/P83/ABS composite for anti-collision guardrail of the automobile was prepared by extrusion-injection molding, the formulation of the composite was optimized by the orthogonal design method, and the notch impact cross-section of the composite was also studied by SEM. The results show that the notch impact strength, flexural modulus, flexural and tensile strength of the composite prepared by the optimum formulation increase by 39.8%, 176%, 79.3% and 20.1% respectively compared to pure ABS resin.
