The coastal vegetation belt can effectively mitigate tsunami disaster.In order to further understand tsunami wave dissipation by coastal vegetation belts,based on two kinds of typical coastal vegetation belts,mangrove and beach forests,two kinds of vegetation were parameterized with different materials and assumptions,and solitary waves were used to simulate tsunami waves.The results showed that wave height,submergence ratio,dimensionless depth and dimensionless thickness all impacted wave dissipation by vegetation in different degrees.Wave disspation by the two kinds of vegetation was proven ...
