The functional mechanism of emulsified wax curing agent (EWCA) as an isolation layer of cement concrete pavement (CCP) was analyzed. Reducing the friction between layers and improving the hydrophobic function of concrete surface can weaken the combination of surface course and base course, as well as the formation of weak transition layer, which is generated during the construction of concrete undersurface course.
