The brushless DC motor control system was designed by using STM32F103 in this paper. The direct cascade was realized by using chip internal hardware. A piece of CPLD was applied to connect the controller and drive circuit. The system response delay with traditional protection method was reduced and the system reliability was improved. The testing results showed that the system maximum offset was 2 %, and overshoots was less than 1%, the stability time was less than 0.4 s.
