新时代的大学生劳动教育作为落实立德树人根本任务的内在要求、培育时代新人的内在需要、实现当代大学生全面发展的根本路径、助力高等教育高质量发展的有效途径，在育人功能上具有综合性，在实现学生全面发展中具有独特性，在教育内容上具有时代性，在教育方式上具有实践性。基于此价值蕴涵与时代特性，需要创新劳动认知教育，培育学生正确劳动观；创新劳动实践形式，提升学生的劳动本领；弘扬劳模精神，助力学生养成良好劳动习惯，提升新时代大学生劳动教育实效。
