This study investigated the influence of the main metal materials of transformers on the oil-paper insulation performance. Ten types of insulating specimens were subjected to accelerated thermal aging at 120°C. Some aging parameters, including oil acid number, furfural content and degree of polymerization (DP) of insulating paper, were measured and compared.
