Herein, the application of Fe3O4 nanoparticles in radio-frequency (RF) integrated transformer was investigated. The Fe3O4 nanoparticles were integrated into an integrated transformer by using a novel post-CMOS process. Compared with the identical structural air-core transformer, the inductance (L), quality factor (Q) and coupling coefficient (K) of the device with Fe3O4 nanoparticles film are increased by 30%, 5% and 10% at 1GHz respectively.
