This research characterized the vibration responses of cement pavement surface slabs atop different interlayers under a moving vehicle load via the laboratory simulated vibration response tests and the field tests. This was done with the help of a micro-seismic monitoring system. In the laboratory simulated vibration response tests, a 4.5 kg hammer was used to impose impact loading, while geotextile and rubber sheet were used as the interlayers.
