In this paper, we consider the partial quadratic eigenvalue assignment problem (PQEAP) for vibration system by active feedback control, such that some "troublesome" eigenpairs are replaced by some suitable chosen or newly measured ones, while the remaining unknown eigenpairs are kept unchanged.
