The ice-covered of the electric railway catenary is one of the significant factors affecting railway operations. Aiming at the problems of low efficiency of traditional de-icing methods, this paper proposes to use the de-icing method based on high-frequency current. By enhancing the current frequency to enhance the conductor skin effect, increase the resistance value per unit length of the conductor, and effectively increase the heating power under the same energizing current.
