Proton exchange membranes, such as the widely used Nafion membranes, are essential components in industrial proton-exchange membrane fuel cells. In this study, multilayer sulfonated carbon-nanotubes/Nafion composite membranes with high performances have been prepared using layer-by-layer assembly.
