The XRD patterns of Fig. 2 show different corrugated paper samples. As can be seen from the Fig. 2, there are two typical diffraction maximums at 2θ = 22.4° and 29.6° for pure corrugated paper and PDMS coated corrugated paper. The diffraction peak at 2θ = 22.4° is mainly attributed to the diffraction peak of the cellulose (0 0 2) plane, which matches the diffraction peak of type I cellulose. In order to cope with the poor moisture-proof and anti-fouling ability of corrugated paper packaging materials, the PDMS-ZnO nano-composite was decorated on the surface of corrugated paper packaging materials by spraying method using the food-grade polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and ZnO nano-particle as raw materials, and the wettability, self-cleaning and mechanical behaviors of the corrugated paper were tested.
