摘要:
Nondestructive testing technology of industrial computed tomography(ICT) is introduced to investigate the injection molded bodies (green body, debinded body and, sintered part) in this study. The results show that ICT can characterize the defects qualitatively and quantitatively by comparing and analyzing the gray distribution of ICT images. The size, numbers and location of pores can be characterized precisely and the density distribution of the green body is quantitatively evaluated. The structure difference and evolution related with processing parameters is also analyzed by this technique. In addition, an image processing method is introduced to three-dimensional reconstruct the two dimensional images after threshold segmentation, and observe the internal structure and spatial morphology of the green body. © 2019 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

摘要:
Templated by TiO2 microspheres, litchi-like SrTiO3 crystals with a narrow size distribution and monodispersity were synthesized through the combination of regulating the ethylene glycol concentration during the hydrothermal process and the post heat treatment. The results show that when the volume ratio of water and ethylene glycol reached 10:70, microsized SrCO3 was firstly formed under the hydrothermal process, and then the litchi-like SrTiO3 powder was obtained after the postheat treatment at 700°C for 4 hours, which shows a large specific surface area of 37.41 m2/g. It is found that the concentration of ethylene glycol aqueous solution plays an important role on the morphology of the SrTiO3 crystals, and the slightly higher viscosity and proper amount of OH hydroxyl groups facilitate the formation of the micrometer spherical hierarchical surface. © 2018 The American Ceramic Society

摘要:
In this study, the (Sm0.5Gd0.3Yb0.2)2(Ce1−xTax)2O7+x oxides were obtained by high-temperature solid-state sintering. The phase lattice, micro-structure, thermal-physical and mechanical performances of samples were examined. The synthesised compounds exhibit a single fluorite-type lattice, and they also have relatively dense microscopic structures. The differences in atomic weight and ionic radius between the solute and host kations enable a reduction of thermal conductivity of bulk samples. The reduced thermal expansion coefficient and the elevated elastic modulus are ascribed to the lower ion-radius of Ta5+ compared to Ce4+. The addition of “soft” Ta2O5 reduces the micro-hardness and increases the fracture toughness. The presented results herein provide an effective approach to ameliorate the fracture toughness of ceramics for thermal barrier coatings. © 2019 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

In this study, the effects of different binder compositions on the homogeneity of injection molded ceramic compacts are discussed from the standpoint of the rheological properties of the feedstocks, density, density deviation, and flexural strength of the as-prepared compacts, and the microstructures of the as-prepared compacts, compacts after solvent debinding, and compacts after thermal debinding. Also the pore size distribution of the compact after thermal debinding was characterized to examine the distribution of the binders in the as-prepare compacts. The feedstock with 30% macromolecular binders attains the minimum power-law index n value at 160 °C, hence it is the most appropriate feedstock for injection molding. The optimal composition is feedstock B30, which is the most homogeneous at an injection temperature of 160 °C. The macromolecular binder-to-PW weight ratio of 3:7 allows best mixing of feedstock and more homogeneous binder distribution. B30 has the highest density, the lowest density deviation and the lowest deviations in flexural strength of the as-prepared compact. Compacts prepared with B30 have the most homogenous pore size distribution after thermal debinding, as determined from the sharp, narrow peaks on the pore size distribution curves. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

Ba<inf>0.5</inf>Sr<inf>0.5</inf>Co<inf>0.8</inf>Fe<inf>0.2</inf>O<inf>3-δ</inf>(BSCF)/Gd<inf>0.2</inf>Ce<inf>0.8</inf>O<inf>1.9</inf>(GDC) dual-gradient cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) were prepared via a spraying-sintering route, using corn starch as a pore-forming agent. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis results revealed that the BSCF and GDC showed good chemical compatibility even at 1200 °C. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results indicated that a graded pore structure, in addition to a gradient composition, can be obtained by regulating the dosage of the pore-forming agent. Consequently, the dual-gradient cathode possessed a low polarization resistance of 0.25 Ωcm<sup>2</sup>at 750 °C, when the pore-forming agent contents were graded at 5 wt%, 10 wt%, and 15 wt% from the inner sub-layer to the outer sub-layer, respectively. This comparative study indicated that high levels of porosity are beneficial for oxygen transport;however, the variation in the porosity of the adjoining sub-layers should be tailored to guarantee the provision of continuous conductive paths for charge carriers.<br/> ©2017 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

摘要:
PEG/PMMA binder systems are among the most widely used water-soluble binders for ceramic injection molding. Binder-induced binder segregation in PEG/PMMA systems is mainly caused by the difference between crystallization temperature of PEG (below 50 °C) and glass transition temperature of PMMA (~120 °C). In this study, we have adopted the method of introduction of appropriate amount of PVP to reduce the binder-induced defects. A principle model was thus established for the suppression of PEG crystallization by PVP molecules. It was revealed that the mechanism by which PVP suppresses PEG crystallization is hydrogen-bonded formation between the carbonyl group of PVP and the hydroxyl groups of PEG molecules. This compresses the crystallization space of PEG molecules, and suppresses their crystallization. It was determined that the range of PVP content that can be safely removed via water debinding is 0–30 wt/wt% PEGS. The incorporation of PVP could effectively enhance the homogeneity of the compact, reduce the size of pores formed after thermal debinding in the compact, promote densification, reduce defects after sintering and enhance the mechanical performance of the sintered bodies. Furthermore, the performance of the molded product was optimal when 20 wt/wt% PEGS of PVP was added to the binder; the flexural strength and density of the resulting sintered body were 811 MPa and 98.7%, respectively. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

摘要:
Anti-static coating on the 3Y-TZP ceramics was prepared through adding ZnO and SnO<inf>2</inf> to the glaze. Wettability and surface resistivity of the coating was studied. Dissolving, crystallization and distribution of ZnO and SnO<inf>2</inf> in the coating were analyzed. Static dissipative mechanism of the coating was explored. The results showed that the interface bonding and wetting between the coating and 3Y-TZP were perfect. The surface resistivity of the coating could be reduced to 10<sup>7</sup> Ω/□. ZnO was helpful to improve the wettability of the coating and inhibit the crystallization of the SiO<inf>2</inf>. ZnO and SnO<inf>2</inf> dissolved in the glaze and the semi-conductive composition rich melt layer around SnO<inf>2</inf> was formed. The melt layer contacted each other and the static dissipative network was established, which attributed to the anti-static properties of the coating.<br/> ©2018 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

In this study, a systematic research has been conducted into the powder modification mechanism, the effects of binder compositions on the thermal behavior, and the mechanical properties of the ceramic injection molded system. SA is adopted to modify the as-received ceramic powder for the ceramic injection molding system. The TGA results demonstrate that the mass loss in SA occurs at 200–300 °C while the loss in SA-modified zirconia is mainly located at 300–400 °C, which is believed that SA reacts with zirconia through an esterification reaction, causing the exothermic peak to shift to a higher temperature. TGA analysis at different locations on the green bodies can effectively evaluate the CIM binder segregation and it is observed that, for feedstock B30, there are four data points in the defined sensitivity range, which could be proved to be the most homogeneous. And it has the best mechanical performance, with three-point flexural strength of 825.7 MPa and the relative density of 98.8%. Feedstock B60 has the maximum pores and the minimum mechanical strength, with the relative density of 95.1% and the three-point flexural strength of 541.4 MPa. The Weibull modulus for Feedstock B30 is greater than 10, signifying the most concentrated strength distribution, which further verifies that feedstock B30 is the most homogeneous formula. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

Abstract: Perovskite Ba<inf>0.8</inf>La<inf>0.2</inf>FeO<inf>3-δ</inf>was synthesized via a glycine–nitrate process as the cathode material for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells. Ultra-fine pure phase Ba<inf>0.8</inf>La<inf>0.2</inf>FeO<inf>3-δ</inf>powder was obtained after the self-propagating combustion of a complex xerogel precursor. The Ba<inf>0.8</inf>La<inf>0.2</inf>FeO<inf>3-δ</inf>cathode showed good compatibility and an enhanced phase interface with a samarium-doped ceria electrolyte. Electrochemical measurements showed that the Ba<inf>0.8</inf>La<inf>0.2</inf>FeO<inf>3-δ</inf>cathode achieved a low polarization resistance of 0.58 Ωcm<sup>2</sup>at 800 °C in an air atmosphere. The porous nanostructure guaranteed the catalytic activity for the oxygen reduction reaction, even if the cathode material possessed a cobalt-free and low rare earth composition. 摘要:
A simple and innovative processing method for fabricating anti-static ceramics has been developed based on Fe-infiltration in sintered tetragonal polycrystalline zirconia doped with 3 mol% yttria (3Y-TZP). The 3Y-TZP samples infiltrated by Fe in a reducing atmosphere showed both excellent anti-static and mechanical properties. Effects of infiltration temperature and time on the surface resistivity and Vickers hardness of the prepared samples were investigated. The surface resistivity and hardness were found to decrease with increases in the infiltration time and temperature. For a typical sample infiltrated at 1000 °C for 4 h, the surface resistivity decreased to 10<sup>7</sup> Ω/□, and the Vickers hardness was 11.2 GPa. The microstructure, chemical composition, and anti-static mechanism were investigated by XRD, SEM and XPS. The results indicated that there was a phase transformation from t-ZrO<inf>2</inf>to m-ZrO<inf>2</inf>during the infiltration process. It was also found that Fe, Fe<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf>and FeO were located in the infiltration layer, conferring an antistatic property to the ZrO<inf>2</inf>ceramics. ©2016 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

摘要:
An innovative processing method for regulating the surface resistivity of zirconia ceramic has been developed based on solution infiltration in porous preform body. In this study, effects of infiltration solution concentration on the surface resistivity and Vickers hardness were investigated. It was shown that the surface resistivity decreased with the increase of infiltration concentration, while the surface hardness was not significantly influenced. For a typical sample infiltrated in 3 mol/L Fe(NO<inf>3</inf>)<inf>3</inf>·9H<inf>2</inf>O solution for 2 h, the surface resistivity is reduced to 10<sup>4</sup>Ω/□, while the Vickers hardness was kept at 13 GPa. The content of element Fe decreased gradually from the surface to the core of the samples. The status of element Fe was verified as FeO and Fe<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>. About 49.4% of the element Fe was in the status of FeO, which was the conductive composition for anti-static purpose. ©2016 Elsevier Ltd and Techna Group S.r.l.

综合实验课程可以弥补传统实践教学的不足,更有利于培养学生的创新意识,工程意识和科学研究能力。本文从项目化的教学内容设计、工程化的实践教学理念以及弹性化的课程考核方法三个方面论述了无机非金属材料工程专业综合实验课程的教学实践。
