Preparation and characterization of nanostarch-based green hard capsules reinforced by cellulose nanocrystals

摘要:
The green hard capsules were prepared with corn nano-starch (CNS) and cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) in this study, the glycerol and carrageenan were used as plasticizer and gelling agent in the CNS/CNC gel solution, respectively. The capsule-films with different CNC content were prepared by casting method, and the dipping method was used in preparation of the corresponding capsules. The compatibility of CNS/CNC capsules was analyzed by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), and the morphology of the capsules was analyzed by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the tensile strength of the CNS based capsule-film was significantly improved with the addition of CNC. When the content of CNC was 6.0%, the tensile strength increased by 238.10%. The transparency of the capsulewith different CNC contents was slightly reduced, but was greater than 87.0%. The loss on drying of CNS/CNC capsule was between 12.87% and 15.03%, and it could be completely dissolved in the artificial gastric juice within 6.0 min, which was in accordance with the provisions of Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2015). Abstract: It is generally believed that the service life of transformer oil-paper insulation is determined by the aging condition of transformer insulation paper. In order to further improve the anti-aging performance of transformer insulation paper, the cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) modified by citric acid crosslinking and melamine amidation, were used to prepare the transformer insulation paper. The insulation paper containing modified CNCs was characterized with Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry and Scanning Electron Microscopy. When the dosage of modified CNCs was 3.0wt% at the beating degree of pulp of 35°SR, compared with the reference insulation paper, the tensile index of insulation paper containing modified CNCs was increased by 17.30%, the AC breakdown strength in air and oil were increased by 12.95% and 40.28%, respectively. And the degree of polymerization of insulation paper containing modified CNCs was 50.50% higher than that of reference insulation paper at the aging time of 28days. 摘要:
Starch microcrystals have the advantages of native starch grains but with higher specific surface area and numerous active sites. In this study, tapioca starch microcrystals were made by sulfuric acid hydrolysis and then chemically modified with succinic anhydride in an aqueous alkaline medium. The succinylated starch microcrystals were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The adsorption properties of the succinylated starch microcrystals in aqueous solutions were studied at different time periods (1 to 60 min), pH (2 to 7), and metals concentration (100 to 2000 mg/L) for different divalent metal ions such as Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), and Pb(II). The results showed that the starch microcrystals were successfully succinylated, and their adsorption equilibrium for divalent metal ions was reached within 1 min. The adsorption capacity in high metal concentration was 147.7 mg/g for Cu(II), 143.2 mg/g for Zn(II), 216.4 mg/g for Cd(II), and 216.0 mg/g for Pb(II)). The metal-adsorption of succinylated starch microcrystals followed the Freundlich isotherm. © 2019 North Carolina State University.

摘要:
Nanostarch has attracted much research interest recently due to its biodegradability and biocompatibility. A type of biocomposite film based on corn nanostarch (CNS) as the matrix and cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) as the reinforcement was prepared using a solution casting method. The influences of corn nanostarch concentration (CCNS), glycerin dosage (Dg), and cellulose nanocrystals dosage (DCNC) on the tensile strength of the biocomposite film were investigated by central composite design. The results were examined by an analysis of variance (ANOVA) and response surface methodology (RSM). The optimized process conditions as follows: CCNS of 11.25%, Dg of 12.00%, and DCNC of 5.00%. The CNS/CNC biocomposite film produced under these conditions showed a high tensile strength of 12.90 MPa. The CNS/CNC biocomposite film was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), water contact angle, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The CNS/CNC biocomposite film has potential application prospects in the field of food and biomedical packaging. © 2019, North Carolina State University.

摘要:
对新型渗透剂用于杨木APMP制浆进行了研究,建立了杨木APMP制浆过程中浸渍段氢氧化钠用量与磨浆能耗之间的数学回归方程模型,即:y (磨浆能耗)=3147.18-74356.73x+575966.56x~2 (x为氢氧化钠用量)。同时研究了在最佳化学药品用量条件下,Pl、P2、P3、P4、P5 5种新型渗透剂对杨木APMP磨浆能耗和纸浆纤维形态的影响。结果表明,P2、P3、P5 3种渗透剂可以降低约10%的磨浆能耗;其中,P3渗透剂处理的杨木APMP可以获得较好的纤维长度和较高的纤维分丝帚化率。

Starch nanocrystals (SNCs) have a small particle size and large surface area compared with traditional modified starch. In this study, SNCs were chemically modified by succinic anhydride in aqueous alkaline condition. With the ratio of succinic anhydride/SNCs (0.1–0.5) increasing, the degree of substitution of succinylated SNCs increases from 0.0481 to 0.1009, and the zeta potential becomes more negative. The SNCs and succinylated SNCs were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The adsorption of Cu(II) and methylene blue (MB) by SNCs and succinylated SNCs in aqueous solutions is also studied. The results show that succinylated SNCs have great adsorption capacity for Cu(II) and MB. The pseudo-second-order kinetics is correspond both with the adsorption of Cu(II) or MB and are also found to be well fitted by Freundlich isotherms model, which shows that adsorption of Cu(II) or MB on succinylated SNCs is mainly multilayer adsorption. © 2019 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. 摘要:
介绍了纳米纤维素的分类及性质,纳米纤维素分为纳米纤维素晶体(NCC)、微纤化纤维素(MFC)和细菌纳米纤维素(BNC)。NCC呈棒状晶须结构,结晶度高且具有高的力学性能;MFC呈纤丝状,具有宽的尺寸范围和更大的长径比,比表面积大,成氢键能力强;BNC呈超细网络状纤维结构,化学纯度和聚合度高,保水能力强。综述了纳米纤维素在纸基增强材料、纸基抗菌材料、纸基过滤材料、纸基导电材料、纸基发光材料、纸基绝缘材料、纸基疏水材料和纸基传感器材料领域的应用现状,并对其在纸基功能材料未来发展方向进行了展望。

以玉米纳米淀粉为基质,甘油为增塑剂、纤维素纳米晶(CNC)为增强剂采用流延成膜法制备玉米纳米淀粉/CNC复合膜,成膜基质和干燥温度对纳米淀粉成膜影响较大,聚氯乙烯基质板对纳米淀粉成膜较好,干燥温度25℃,成膜平整光滑;单因素探讨了玉米纳米淀粉、甘油和CNC含量对纳米淀粉/CNC复合膜强度性能的影响,在该基础上进行三因素三水平正交试验,正交优化研究表明,对玉米纳米淀粉/ CNC复合膜的抗张强度影响为:CNC>甘油>玉米纳米淀粉,正交试验优化结果为CNC 2%,甘油8%,玉米纳米淀粉10%,制备的玉米纳米淀粉/CNC复合膜抗张强度达20.18MPa;FTIR分析表明玉米纳米淀粉、甘油、CNC混合均匀,形成了均一稳定的纳米淀粉/CNC复合膜。该玉米纳米淀粉/CNC复合膜在食品药品可食性包装领域具有较好的应用前景。

摘要:
采用双螺杆挤压法制备玉米纳米淀粉并研究其作为涂布胶黏剂在低定量涂布纸(LWC)中的应用。结果表明,玉米纳米淀粉颗粒的结晶区被破坏,结晶度显著下降,玉米纳米淀粉平均粒径100 nm左右;玉米纳米淀粉为白色粉末,冷水可溶,黏度低,可直接以干粉形式与颜料一起分散配料;在丁苯胶乳与普通涂布淀粉比例为8:4的涂料配方中,采用6份玉米纳米淀粉同时取代4份普通涂布淀粉和4份丁苯胶乳时,涂料的保水性能提高62.6%,涂布后LWC的印刷表面强度提高12.9%,其他各项性能指标满足要求。

Nanostarch has a small particle size and large surface area compared with traditional modified starch. In this study, nanostarch was prepared by dual screw extrusion and was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The nanostarch was studied as a coating adhesive in surface coating of lightweight coated paper. The crystallinity of nanostarch granules was decreased by dual screw extrusion, and its average particle size was about 100 nm. The results showed that for the paper coating formula of styrene butadiene latex and an ordinary oxidized coating starch ratio of 9:5, all ordinary oxidized coating starch and part of the styrene butadiene latex can be replaced by nanostarch. When 5 parts of ordinary oxidized coating starch and 4 parts of styrene butadiene latex were replaced by 6.5 parts nanostarch, the water retention property of nanostarch coating was increased by 64.0%, and its viscosity was decreased by 11.0%. The IGT printing surface strength of lightweight coated paper by the nanostarch coating was increased by 11.6%, and the glossiness of coated paper was increased by 7.2%. These results show that nanostarch surface coatings have good prospects for application in papermaking.

卷烟纸的透气度是卷烟纸一个非常重要的质量指标,通过实验系统地研究了浆料配比,纸张定量、灰分和水分,瓜尔胶用量,表面施胶量,浆网速差,后精浆盘磨功率大小等对卷烟纸透气度大小的影响。研究结果表明:阔叶木浆料配比比值越大、纸张灰分含量越高以及浆网速差越大,卷烟纸透气度均呈上升趋势;纸张定量越大、水分含量越高、瓜尔胶用量增加、表面施胶量越多以及后精浆盘磨功率越大,卷烟纸透气度均呈逐渐下降趋势。

天丝纤维是一种溶剂型再生纤维素纤维,研究了天丝纤维原纤化程度及其对浆料性能的影响,探讨了天丝纤维与针叶木浆配抄对变压器绝缘纸板机械性能和电气性能的影响。研究结果表明,天丝纤维容易原纤化,原纤化程度越高,纤维变得更加柔软和扭曲,表面更加粗糙,分丝帚化越多;相对100%针叶木浆抄造的绝缘纸板,针叶木浆与天丝纤维配比为85∶15配抄的绝缘纸板的紧度降低4. 8%,抗张指数下降2. 9%,吸油率提高11. 9%,在空气中的击穿电压提高5. 8%,在油中的击穿电压提高25. 8%,天丝纤维显著提高了绝缘纸板的吸油率和电气强度。

A series of highly efficient nucleating agent hexahydrophthalic acid (HHPA) metal salts for isotactic polypropylene (iPP) were prepared from hexahydrophthalic anhydride and different metal compounds. Effects of HHPA metal salts on crystallization and melting behaviors of iPP had been investigated by means of wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and polarized optical microscopy (POM). At the same time, the moisture absorption test of HHPA metal salts was carried out. The results showed that sodium, calcium, lithium, magnesium, and barium salts of HHPA were highly efficient α-crystalline nucleating agents for iPP, aluminum salt of HHPA had limited positive effect on the formation of β crystalline form, zinc salt was a highly efficient β nucleating agent, and the relative content of β-crystals of iPP nucleated with 0.2wt% of zinc salt of HHPA reached 0.864. In addition, HHPA metal salts had a lower moisture absorption than sodium benzoate, which was beneficial for preservation of these nucleating agents and corresponding articles. © 2017, Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany.

采用双螺杆挤压技术制备了纳米羧甲基淀粉(NCMS),并研究其作为涂布胶黏剂用于微量涂布纸的性能,结果表明:颗粒达纳米级,且颗粒平面较平整;NCMS和氧化淀粉均为负电性,且NCMS的负电荷密度较低;NCMS具有优良的成膜性,且膜强度高,拉伸强度4.67 MPa,断裂伸长率为26.9%。NCMS取代氧化淀粉制备轻涂纸涂料,能显著提高涂料的保水性能,当NCMS用量14%时,涂料的保水值为43.6 g/m~2,涂布纸的印刷表面强度为0.89 m/s,纸页的纵向抗张指数为47.8(N·m)/g,横向抗张指数为21.7(N·m)/g,油墨吸收性为36.8%,印刷光泽度61%。与20%普通氧化淀粉相比,保水性能提高25.3%,涂料的黏度下降12.4%,制得的涂布纸的印刷表面强度、抗张强度均有不同程度提高。

纳米淀粉具有来源丰富、安全无毒、可再生、可生物降解、生物相容性好等优良性质,同时具有纳米粒子的小尺寸效应、量子尺寸效应、表面与界面效应和宏观量子隧道效应等纳米特性,在食品工业中应用广泛。文章主要介绍了纳米淀粉的制备方法、性质及改性方法,阐述了纳米淀粉在食品领域的应用,并对其发展方向进行展望。

摘要:
纳米淀粉具有粒径小、比表面积大,纳米小尺寸效应、纳米增强等特点,采用六节筒体的双螺杆挤压机制备玉米纳米淀粉,并对其进行表征。研究结果表明:当挤压机2~6区的腔体温度分别固定为80,100,110,115,120 ℃,甘油用量为20%,乙二醛用量为2.0%,螺杆转速为160 r/min时,所制得纳米淀粉的D_(50)粒径最小,为225.8 nm;纳米淀粉结构完整、表面光滑,乙二醛与淀粉羟基反应生成了缩醛类化合物,红外谱图出现新的吸收峰;其热重分析曲线与原淀粉相似,热稳定性无明显变化;纳米淀粉的X射线衍射(XRD)峰型减弱,结晶区破坏明显;纳米淀粉糊液属假塑性流体,具有剪切稀化性质,随着纳米淀粉粒径的减小,糊液透光率逐渐增大。玉米纳米淀粉的独特纳米特性有望在食品加工、保鲜和食品包装等领域广泛应用。

摘要:
绝缘纸板的质量对变压器的使用寿命影响很大,选取了加拿大HY,俄罗斯EKB,智利JX三种本色针叶木硫酸盐浆,研究三种针叶木浆对绝缘纸板性能的影响,研究结果表明,三种浆料的纤维的形貌有一定的差别,纤维的长度和宽度不尽相同,三种浆制备的绝缘纸板抗张强度和击穿电压都达到IEC标准,其中加拿大HY浆的性能最好。为优化最佳的性价比,三种浆料HY:EKB:JX配比为6:3:1时,绝缘纸板纵横向抗张强度比IEC标准最低值分别增加10.55%和12%;吸油率达17.53%;空气和油中的击穿强度分别增加21.5%和26.74%.较好满足绝缘纸板性能。

摘要:
速生碳汇草是通过某些禾本科植物杂交培育的新品种,生长周期短,产量高。对5种速生碳汇草进行了纤维形态和化学成分分析,探讨速生碳汇草用于制浆造纸的可行性并确定最佳制浆原料。速生碳汇草纤维采用硝酸和氯酸钾混合法分离并用生物显微镜测定纤维长宽度、壁厚以及胞腔直径;按照相关国家标准测定速生碳汇草的化学成分。结果表明,5种速生碳汇草均适用于制浆造纸原料,其中5号速生碳汇草具有最好的制浆造纸价值;其纤维平均长度为1.74 mm,壁腔比为2.64,长宽比为123,柔性系数为28.51%,灰分含量为2.92%,苯醇抽出物含量为1.51%,木素含量为18.90%,聚戊糖含量为21.11%,纤维素含量为43.82%。

淀粉是除纤维素外的第二大可再生原料,淀粉基膜绿色环保、安全无毒、可生物降解,缓解了合成材料的不可降解对生存环境的污染和原料日益枯竭的压力,实现资源的可持续发展,是当今最具有发展前景的新型材料之一。文章对淀粉基膜的制备方法进行了综述,介绍了湿法、干法制备淀粉基膜及其物理化学性质,阐述了淀粉基膜在食品保鲜、包装等领域的应用,并对淀粉基膜的应用前景进行展望。

摘要:
对新型蒸煮助剂用于竹子硫酸盐法制浆的最佳工艺条件进行了研究。结果表明,BL-A助剂的最佳蒸煮工艺条件为:用碱量14%、硫化度18%、液比3.7︰1、最高蒸煮温度165℃、BL-A助剂的用量0.07%,在此工艺条件下细浆得率为47.76%,卡伯值为17.71。
