摘要:
Short-term wind power prediction is important to the dispatch and operation of power system. A prediction model based on the rough set, principal component analysis (PCA) and Elman neural network (ElmanNN) is constructed for short-term wind speed forecasting to improve the prediction accuracy of short-term wind power. The wind speed prediction model is established by using ElmanNN, and PCA is used to extract the feature of wind speed data, which optimizes the inputs of ElmanNN. Furthermore, excitation function and the structures of network are improved to search for the optimum solution to function of convergence rate and prediction accuracy. To solve large error and prediction accuracy fluctuations of the ElmanNN model at the peak value of wind speed, the rough set theory is proposed to compensate and correct the predicted values to further improve the forecasted results. Finally, the predictive value of the wind power is obtained by the power conversion. Experiment results show that the new combination model proposed in this paper has higher prediction accuracy compared to another model and has certain application value.

摘要:
A novel method based on the Discrete Event Sys tem (DES) theory is proposed to solve the compatibility and interoperability issues among devices from different manufactures for the application of IEC60870-5-104 in distribution networks. In this paper, the DES method, which is described by a Finite State Machine (FSM), is employed to model the communication procedure based on the IEC60870-5-104. In the model, each object on the application layer is represented by the FSM. In each FSM, the communication drives the FSM from state to the other which is also called state transition. The event set includes all of the events which have impacts on the communication procedure. As a novel method to model the communication based on IEC60870-5-101/104, the DES accurately describes the behaviors of the system and enhances the reliability of the communication by using the supervisory controller.

Phasor measurement units (PMUs) in a wide area measurement system (WAMS) environment offer precise estimates, improved post-disturbance analysis, and efficient advanced control. When communication resources are limited, WAMS data transmission network design must consider accuracy as a critical limitation. Focusing on the optimal resource allocation, this paper studies the system accuracy and its relation to transmission protocol design. An adaptive communication time division based assignment is investigated. Algorithms are developed and they are shown to achieve the optimal resource usage. Illustrative examples demonstrate significant advantages of our accuracy-based time division allocation methodologies over traditional TDMA strategy.
摘要:
Assimilation, Accommodation and Equilibration are three important concepts in the description of the developmental process of human cognition in schema theory. Based on comparing some relative ideas in adaptive resonance theory and schema theory, a self-adjusting method to the vigilance value of ART2 network is proposed. It constructs the basis of supervised ART2 network, which make the computer simulation of the developmental process of human cognition feasible. In the recognition trial of circle, triangle and quadrangle, the stable schemata are formed in the Long-Term Memory of ART2 through the process of assimilation, accommodation and equilibration. The realization of these basic processes of human cognition by artificial neural network will benefit the development of artificial intelligent agent.
